Meet our new African spotted-necked otter pup, Shani, now featured in our Wild About Otters exhibit! Have a behind-the-scenes look at her early days at the Aquarium. To learn more, please visit www.montereybayaquarium.org.
See www.seemonterey.com for full details on the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s special exhibit, “The Secret Lives of Seahorses.” We got a sneak peek at the Secret Lives of Seahorses exhibit which opened April 6 at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The creatures within it are just astounding! (Keep an eye out for the winking seahorse.) Watch it in high-quality to get the full effect. Plus, we caught a glimpse of Facebook’s favorite seahorse, Herbie Hippocampus. See if you can pick him out of the crowd! As amazing as it looks in the video, you really must see it in person to get the full effect. Learn more about visiting Monterey at www.SeeMonterey.com
Explore the Monterey Bay Aquarium with me! In this video, you’ll see everything from sea otters to sting rays and from sardines to sharks. At the time I shot this video, the Monterey Bay Aquarium had the only Great White shark in captivity. It was accidentally caught in commercial fishing gear and they nursed it back to health. It has since been released into the wild, and it is doing well. The aquarium has saved five different sharks in the past five years. Click the link below to learn more about the Aquarium’s research on Great White Sharks. www.montereybayaquarium.org Don’t forget to Rate, Comment, and Subscribe!! Thanks for watching!
On February 18, 2010, a sea otter pup named Kit became the youngest otter ever to go on exhibit at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Kit came to the Aquarium as a five-week-old stranded animal. Learn more about our otters www.montereybayaquarium.org
